I'm a self-taught nature and wildlife photographer who lives in Belgium.
Since I was a little boy I have been interested in photography, I can still remember very vividly how I sneaked up to the huge closet in my parents' living room to open it up very silently in order to get a hold of my father's Nikon F801. I was fasinated by the camera and what it was capable of, namely being able to capture a moment in time.
For as long as I can remember I have always been an outdoors person, as a kid I played in a nearby forest and smaller woodlands and as a teenager you could find me near a pond or a lake trying to catch a big carp.
This love and respect for nature in general combined with a passion for photography are the main ingredients to enjoy wildlife photography.
The camera, as a tool, has always felt very natural in my hand!
Photography has always been in my genes and in the end I feel myself taking pictures with my heart.
